How much does Account Safe cost?
Account Safe is completely free for FoneFix customers. There is no subscription, membership fee or ongoing charge.
What information can you keep?
You choose what you want us to retain. This can include your device PIN, passcode or unlock pattern, Apple Account details, Google Account details and the ordinary email account used on your phone.
Can you see my passwords?
Sensitive credentials are not stored as readable text. They are encrypted before storage and can only be decrypted through the protected FoneFix Staff Vault when access is genuinely required.
How secure is it?
Sensitive credentials are protected using AES-256-GCM encryption. Each Account Safe record has its own unique encryption key, and access is restricted to the protected FoneFix Staff Vault.
Do I have to use it?
No. Account Safe is completely optional and is not required when purchasing a phone, booking a repair or having a device set up.
What happens if I forget something later?
Visit FoneFix and explain what you need help with. We will carry out appropriate identity checks before accessing or helping you use any stored information.
